Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh wait...Just Lions and Bears...Oh My!!!

We made our first trip to the Strip as residents of Las Vegas. What a great way to spend the day together. The main reason was to go and enjoy the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand. When we got there the lions were sleeping right at the entrance. For those that don't know, there is a tunnel that you can walk through that is all plexigrass. All three of the lions were asleep on top of the tunnel.

It took him a little bit to warm up to the lions. In fact, it took him a little bit to even find the lions, but once he did he loved them.

Look at him just starin' at the lions in the background. here are just a couple more pictures of the lions. It was fun to have them right above us even though they were sleeping.

You can't go to the strip and only go to one place. We had to go to the M&M store and the Coke store. It was a good thing we went when we did because we found the M&M character walking around Dax wasn't quite sure what to think of Red...maybe he'll will like them someday.

Dax came out of his shell with the Coke Bear. I don't know if it was because the bear was softer than the M&M or if it was just a bear. Probably just because it was an animal he recognized, but it was way cute to see him play with the bear.

Megs, Daxton, and me just chillin with the Coke Bear. (Don't you think the guy in this suit is really short?)

He really liked the bear, he kept reaching for him and laughing. So did the guy in the suit. He thought Dax was pretty funny.
